My Commitment to You
Dear Patient,
The relationship between doctor and patient is sacred. If I accept you into my care, it is because I believe your goals align with my philosophy: that beauty and health are the same pursuit.
People find their way here for different reasons. Some come for something specific — a line that has settled, a feature they have always wanted to refine, the face in photographs that no longer matches how they feel inside. Some come because something structural has been bothering them for years — a smile that never felt full, a jaw that aches in the morning, sleep that never quite restores. Some come simply because they are tired in a way that no one has been able to explain. Whatever brings you here, the standard of care is the same.
You should know: I will often tell you No — to more volume, to chasing trends, to treatments that take you further from yourself. But I will always say yes to what restores. To what allows you to smile more freely, breathe more easily, and move through the world feeling more wholly like yourself.
My work is humble. It is not meant to be seen. It should disappear so that you can come forward — truer, more authentic, more aligned with who you are. This is not about chasing trends, inflating features, or performing for the crowd.
The best results don’t shout. They whisper. My goal is not to make you look different, but to help you look as if time has softened — as if you’ve rested deeply, let go of worry, and stepped back into a lighter, more vibrant version of yourself. Some call it looking younger. Others call it looking refreshed. I simply call it looking like you — restored, harmonious, and wholly your own.
What we do here is not about fixing flaws or proving you’re enough. You already are. Too often, the world tells you otherwise — that you must do more, buy more, change more. I reject that. Choosing to invest in yourself here is not an act of inadequacy, but of empowerment. It is a powerful choice to honor yourself, to align with your own authenticity, and to express who you are in a truer way.
We are guided by natural beauty, which lies in the details — the nuanced millimeter adjustments, the precise calibrations that restore authenticity and vibrance. This work should never pull you away from your core, but bring you closer to it.
Beauty and health have never been separate in my mind. The brain recognizes vitality as beautiful — it always has. A face that breathes well, that holds no unnecessary tension, that smiles without restraint — that is a medical outcome. And it is also the most beautiful one.
I promise to honor that. To protect you from being led astray. To remind you that the most powerful aesthetic is one that feels seamless, timeless, and uniquely yours.
With integrity,
Meet Dr. Sue Min Mak

Dr. Mak is a Diplomate of the International Academy of Sleep and the founder of New England Sleep Health, an interdisciplinary sleep and airway practice that collaborates with physicians and hospital networks in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing.
“I am committed to achieving natural, harmonious results. I approach each patient as a work of art. When we smile, we smile not from our mouths, but from our soul. By shifting into a place of genuine self-love, we are able to remove the barriers that had previously prevented us from fully expressing our essence in the world. There is so much power in showing up as the person we were meant to be. It’s an honor to be part of that journey.”
